Moderate 10 miles / 16.1 km
The walk starts at Traquair community hall car park and follows the Southern Upland Way into the Tweed Valley Forest Park exploring the hills on the Minchmoor Road, at first Hare Law and Wanders Knowe and on the way back Minch Moor (567m). From this top a southerly direction is taken before returning in a loop briefly to the Southern Upland Way before heading down a track towards Camp Shiel Burn. Return to the Traquair area via Camp Shiel and Damhead.
Terrain: Tracks and path trough forestry and over open moor land with good views.
Meet at Livingston North Railway Station (south side) at 8am or at Traquair village hall car park approx. 9am.
This is a circular walk
Appropriate clothing and footwear are essential.
