a 10.5 mile figure of eight walk starting at 09.45 from:

Furnace Lane is off
Shortheath Road, Moira.

 

Use the first car park on the right which is adjacent to the children's play park.

Free parking.

 

The walk is a "Figure of 8" with the morning walk approx 5.8 miles. Pub stop at another of our favourite pubs - The Rawdon Arms - where we have always been made very welcome.

On Recce day they had 3 Real Ales on offer - Bass, Abbot and London Pride.

 

On the afternoon section we walk on part of Cross Britain Way and then walk around the Southern side of Albert Lake which may be new paths for Hinckley Ramblers.

The total walk is 10.5 miles with the option of leaving the walk after 6 miles.
