Buxton to Chrome Hill Peak District - 14.5 Miles

Saturday, 17 September 2022

Start time: 9:30
(Estimated finish time: 17:00)

Strenuous 14.5 miles / 23.3 km

Group Black Country Young Walkers

Matthew is leading a 14.5 mile Strenuous walk.

STRENUOUS CIRCULAR HILL WALK: A less well trodden route through the lower end of the Peak District with just short of 3500ft of total ascent to tackle throughout the route. The panoramic views from the summit points are well worth the effort.

TERRAIN: Mixture of typical countryside, woodland and remote moorland. Some of the terrain is rough and uneven underfoot. Some less strenuous pathways and trails for recovery. Some areas maybe very wet/boggy if there has been rainfall the preceding days prior to event

Please arrive at 09:15 for a 09:30 start.
