Group name: Vale of Belvoir
This group is a part of Nottinghamshire Area.
The walk in Dovedale on 27th October advertised in the printed copy of the VBR Walks Programme has been cancelled due to work to fell diseased ash trees. An alternative walk from Hartington will take place instead.
Our groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us so do get in touch and come along to one of our walks.
Vale of Belvoir Ramblers is a small and friendly group based in south east Nottinghamshire. Our varied programme offers weekly Sunday and monthly Wednesday walks. In addition, in June and July we offer leisurely evening strolls, often ending with a sociable drink at a pub.
Many of our walks are in and around the Vale of Belvoir but we walk further afield in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire with regular trips to the Peak District.
More details are on our website (above) and photographs taken on our walks can be found on our blog at http://vbramblers.blogspot.co.uk/ as well as routes of most of our walks from 2014 onwards.
