Overview

This is another countryside walk starting at the Cricketers Pub, Tichborne Down Road. The walk takes us on familiar paths, through fields, on tracks and some road walking taking the Itchen Way to Trodds Copse, Ovington, along the river, a short detour for coffee at St Mary's Church, Itchen Stoke, see the memorial to Major Reginald John Ponsonby Cox 1874-1915. Continuing across fields to Avington Golf Course, road to Itchen Abbas, Three Castles Path and Wayfarers Way to Drove Lane. Past the watercress beds and back to the Cricketers.
