A walk through the Hampshire countryside where you could be forgiven for forgetting that you are in the densely populated South East of England. We walk through farm and woodland mainly on tracks with some good views achieved without a great deal of ascent.
Leaving East Stratton the woodland can be a bit muddy but soon thereafter the underfoot improves considerably. We arrive in Brown Candover for a sit down over a BYO snack / coffee around 11am. We then head North along the Wayfarer's long distance path until we reach woodland South of Dummer where we will most likely take BYO lunch on a grassy bank before we head South for our return journey which continuous to be mainly tracks through farmland and woodland. No stiles.
