We’ll begin from the historic Old Railyard in Tetbury and climb briefly into the heart of the town, passing beautiful buildings steeped in history. From there, we’ll walk alongside the Highgrove Estate—King Charles' countryside residence—before following public footpaths intoĀ Westonbirt Arboretum, where we’ll enjoy a diverse selection of trees and possibly stop for lunch (weather and timing permitting).

Note: We’ll remain on public and permissive footpaths, soĀ no entry feeĀ is required. The cafĆ© and ticketed areas areĀ not accessible unless you have an Arboretum membership.

Our return route winds pastĀ Westonbirt SchoolĀ and its golf course, eventually joining the old railway line and cycle path back to Tetbury. After the walk, there will be time to relax at one of Tetbury’s many lovely pubs, cafĆ©s, or bakeries.

🄾 What to Bring:

  • Sturdy footwear (some uneven terrain)
  • Packed lunch & snacks
  • Plenty of water (no refill points en route)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing

šŸ“Œ Additional Notes:

  • Route includes some short steep sections, especially near Tetbury
  • Ground conditions should be dry, but sturdy footwear is still advised
