We are the East Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in the East Staffordshire area to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Consall Woods we climb The 200 steps of Devils Staircase making our way through the beautiful contryside to Ipstones, Foxt then follow the Staffordshire Moorlands Way to Froghall Wharf, here we drop onto the Cauldon Canal with a final climb to Hazles then into Consall Nature Reserve.
The walk has numerous steep ups and downs with amazing views.
Postcode will take you to ‘Wildacres’ a house on the left with a large deep pink blossom tree, proceed through stone pillars down the lane and the car park is a sharp bend to the right.
Park at Consall Woods. Parking charge £3 cash is easier or Parking App ( internet access is limited ) / Free for RSPB members. Toilets available.
