Walk Overview:
Join us for a 7.5-mile circular walk starting in the charming village of Ashton under Hill. Weโ€™ll begin with a relaxed stroll through the village and across gentle paths to Beckford. From here, weโ€™ll climb gradually up the scenic Yellow Brick Road โ€“ a ridge track that rewards us with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.

Once weโ€™ve enjoyed the panoramic sights, weโ€™ll follow a steady descent back into Ashton under Hill, returning to where we began.

Walk Details:

  • ๐Ÿฅพ Distance: 7.5 miles
  • โ›ฐ๏ธ Terrain: A mix of village paths, open countryside, and gentle inclines
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Pace: Leisurely with regular stops for photos and scenery
  • ๐Ÿ•’ Duration: Approximately 3โ€“3.5 hours (including breaks)

After the Walk:
Optional refreshments at The Star Inn for those who fancy a drink or bite to eat.

Limited parking available near the start โ€“ please consider car sharing if possible. Let us know in the comments if you can offer or need a lift.
