Overview

šŸ“ Meeting Point:Ā Stamages Lane Car Park, GL6 6UZ

šŸ“ Description:
Join us for a scenic 10-mile circular hike starting from Painswick. We’ll begin by heading down Painswick Hill and across rolling fields towards the charming village of Sheepscombe.

From there, the route climbs north into beautiful beechwood forests before opening out onto the Cotswold Commons and leading us into Cranham.

Next, we’ll make our way up to the world-famous Coopers Hill, home of the annual cheese-rolling event. Here we can take in the views (without the tumble down the slope!).

We’ll then return to Painswick via the Cotswold Way, passing through Pope’s Wood. This walk offers a lovely variety of field paths, woodland trails, and sweeping views across the Cotswolds.
