This walk takes in a mix of fields, wooded paths as well as quiet lanes around Cholderton, the Hampshire Gap and Newton Tony. The terrain is flat and there are no stiles.

The Crown Inn, Cholderton, Salisbury, SP4 0DW. The pub is situated right at the heart of the village which is about 10 miles west of Andover. From the A303 take the exit for the A338 to Salisbury and turn right at the roundabout. You will pass the sign for the Cholderton farm shop on your left. The first village you pass through will be Cholderton with The Crown on the left just before a small roundabout.
