Lovely walk through classic Sussex undulating downland. A couple of inclines, including walking to just below the feet of the Long Man, not all the way to his head!
These are 5 of the 7 churches which make up the Cuckmere Pilgrim's Walk...the 5 we do today are all south of the A27 so we don't have to cross the busy road.
We will be popping inside each church which adds time on hence the later finish time.
Also, after 4 miles, we pass the Cricketers Arms pub where we could have a bite to eat or at least a drink. Pub opens at 11.30, food from 12 noon.
No stiles.
