Overview

This is a 9 mile loop which takes in Six named mountains. We pass Roch Castle to descend via lush green lanes to use stepping stones to cross the stream below Kite Mountain. From these cattle pastures there are good views of Skomer and Ramsey Islands. Using country roads we ascend to the foot of Dudwell Mountain across cattle pastures to ascend via a green lane to Plumstone Mountain for views of the Precelis. From there we descend to skirt the forestry then up Dudwell Mountain for views of St Brides Bay. After our descent from Cuffern Mountain to Roch on country lanes we discover what commanding position Roch Castle is in.
