*** Note 9:45 start ***
Starting from the walkers car park in Kingston, we head out to Houns Tout, then east towards Chapman's Pool, taking in the new section of coast path along the way. We'll take a brief stop at Chapman's Pool, then a reasonably steep uphill to get back onto the coast path. We then follow the coast path around St. Alban's head to Winspit, crossing the steep dip on the way. We'll probably take lunch somewhere near Winspit. After lunch continue along the coast path to Seacombe, before cutting inland back to Worth Matravers, then north to the start of the Purbeck Way before taking a side trail back round to Kingston.
There are a couple of steep ascents (and 1 descent) with rough, uneven steps, but we will allow everyone time to rest at the top.
Whilst the section north of Worth can be very muddy, it should be fine this time of year.
Expect the usual 4050 brisk pace.
Bring drinks, snacks and a packed lunch to keep you going.
Public toilets at Worth Matravers.
No dogs except RAD.
