We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk encompasses the woods around the site of the Abermarlais mansion near Llansadrwn and it's estate, the pretty hamlet of Felindre, and a stunning view across Cwm Tywi and the Mynydd Ddu.
Although I've graded it as moderate, most of it is fairly easy but there is one short, steep hill climb up to the top of the hill from which there are stunning views of the Towy Valley and the Black Mountains.

Layby off A40 southbound, half mile before roundabout turnoff to Llangadog (just passed brown camping sign). If coming from Llandeilo: layby on right 300yds passed cafe hut in left hand side layby.
