A strenuous walk with about 2,200 feet of ascent which heads up from Rowen through pleasant woodland and pasture onto the moorland above. There are wide-ranging views of mountains and coast, weather allowing, with evidence of early human activity before the descent back to Rowen through lush pastures.
Note that there will be a Car Boot Sale in the Memorial Hall in Rowen on the day of the walk which means there will be few parking spaces available in the main car park. Roadside parking on entry to the village is advised, as is car sharing. On the plus side, this should mean that the toilets in the Memorial Hall will be available for us to use before we set off for the walk!"
