Overview

From the car park we head along the Windrush valley to Ford and the head of the river near Cutsdean. From there across open country to Stumps Cross and then along a bridleway towards the hamlet of Farmcote. We return to Temple Guiting by footpath past the lost village of Pinnock

2 refreshment stops – bring a packed lunch. Some gentle climbs. A couple of stiles. One section muddy after heavy rain. Drinks and a mince pie at John and Yvonnes home afterwards.

Past farm park and at crossroads turn left downhill and fork left into lane signposted for Temple Guiting. Continue to T junction and then right for village hall car park
