We offer walks in London and Home Counties, accessible by public transport.
A circular walk from Amberley, initially following the South Downs Way eastwards towards Amberley Mount and Rackham Hill, then heading south to Burpham and Arundel and returning to Amberley via Arundel Park. The walk combines downland views, farmland, parkland and views of Arundel Castle and the River Arun. There are a couple of steep hills and some stiles. The stretch along the River Arun may be muddy after rainfall.
Train: 10.05 from London Victoria, 10.12 Clapham Junction, 10.23 East Croydon, arr Amberley 11.28 (Bognor Regis train)
Lunch: Bring picnic lunch. Pub for drinks and loos only.
Toilets: On train, pub at lunchtime and in Arundel. There are no toilets at Amberley Station.
