Overview

A delightful walk through woods and across downs. Mostly easy walking and while there is some mud, it is possible to avoid most of it. Gentle ascents and descents. Possibility of bluebells, wood anenomes, kestrels and Kites, Glorious views on a clear day. The route takes us through the woods to above Patcham church and then along the Monarch's Way to Barpham Hill before returning via Angmering Park woods. This walk is not accessible by public transport and there is limited parking. Dogs on a lead welcome. 538 ft of ascent and descent. BYO coffee stop and lunch picnic.
