LVF Ramblers is a friendly, sociable group, specialising in short leisurely weekend walks of 3-4 miles in town & country, mainly accessible by public transport.
Meet at 10.30 at Clapton station (Weaver line) station. Join Helen as we walk along the River Lee to the Ferry Boat Inn where we will meet those who would prefer to do a shorter walk at 12.15. We will then take a brief sortie through the Walthamstow Wetlands to the LVF bench for anniversary speeches and photographs. Lunch will be 1.00pm at the Ferry Boat Inn (numbers will be taken before the walk). Those wishing to lunch but not walk please book in advance with Sue Scott lvfsecretary2@gmail.com. Car parking at the pub is chargeable – either card or Ringo, £5.00 for 3 hours. The price will be deducted from your meal on production of the ticket. Please note this walk is not suitable for dogs.
