We are the Eastleigh Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us for a full English breakfast (other options are available) at the River Inn Toby Carvery, Bishopstoke before the walk starts. Meet at the restaurant at 9.00 for breakfast or just a coffee. If you are not eating please meet us in the car park at 10.00. We will walk from the car park following footpaths around the edges of Bishopstoke and Fair Oak, via Crowd Hill and Stoke Common then back through Stoke Park Woods. Some sections WILL be muddy, so be prepared - wear wellie/gaiters and bring a stick for support on slippy sections. If conditions are very bad we can cut the walk short or take detours along roads (not quite so exciting).
Bring refreshments for a coffee break and lunch stop.
Breakfast eaters can park in the Toby car park. If you are not having a breakfast please park considerately on one of the residential roads opposite or the car park at the Hub (payment required til 12.00pm). Church Road/Riverside is a good place to find spaces or the slip road opposite the Nisa store on Fair Oak Road.
