Meet in Appledore Village Hall free car park, The Street, Appledore.
We’ll start by heading south along the Military Canal Path to the Sussex border, then via the Saxon Shore Way back through Stone in Oxney to Chapel Bank, passing The Ferry Inn on our return to Appledore.
A lot of the route is flat but on the Saxon Shore Way we’ll climb a little to reach the Isle of Oxney and Chapel Bank.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink. We will pause for lunch en route. Nice views.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but you may need to lift them over one or two stiles.
