Overview

A strenuous hill-walk mostly on good paths and tracks but with some pathless sections to negotiate. The route takes in Moel Llyfnant (751m) then drops into a potentially boggy col before re-gaining height via the delightful broad ridge onto Arenig Fawr (854m), from the summit we navigate our way across a trackless area to pick up a descent path down to Llyn Arenig Fawr (reservoir) past a very small bothy then a good track and the 'B' road back to the cars. No dogs please due to lambing restrictions. Road side parking so car share is advised due to limited spaces. 2700 ft asc. Tel 07498917265. Full Day. Bring lunch. Booking is essential and opens from 20/05/2025. Book using https://nmc-ramblers.org.uk/ or click link above.
