A hilly walk starting from Dorchester West Railway station to Charminster, then walking the chalk hills that frame Cerne valley to Godmanston, returning on a route parallel with the river Cerne.

From Bristol Temple Meads ETD 08.03, ETA 10.08 (does not stop at Freshford or Avoncliff)

From Weymouth - train or bus

Return from Dorchester West Station

To Bristol Temple Meads:  17.42 (stops at Avoncliff and Freshford)

To Weymouth - train or bus.

Most railway stations along the line do not have toilets. If needed, it is advisable to use the toilets on the train before alighting.
