Overview

The walk will cover the area around Parkhouse Hill, Chrome Hill and Hollinsworth with some quiet lanes, stony tracks and paths. The route is undulating and suitable hiking boots are desirable along with waterproofs and spare tops as the weather is susceptible to change in the Peak District.

People wishing to join the walk are kindly asked to inform the walk leader leaving contact details in case of late minute changes.

We stop for a short break after around 1.5 hours of walking and later for lunch so bring food and drink with you. There maybe opportunity to purchase ice cream on the way and there is a toilet facility towards the end of the walk.
