Join me, as I travel south west of Surrey into the South Downs. We will leave the market town of Petersfield behind us as we walk south down to the pretty village of Buriton. The first hill of the day will take us up to and into the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, where we will stop to use the toilets in the visitors centre.

A packed lunch will be had sitting on the top of the next hill, Butser. This is where we turn around and start heading north, though the hamlet of Ramsdean and stopping in Stroud for a drink in the pub. The final hill of the day in up Stoner Hill and back into Petersfield.
