Following a route across countryside, downs and woods, from the historic Withies pub, by Roker's Lane, passing Rodsall Manor with its intriguing rental fee (a rose each year), onto Puttenham Common, the NDW and Loseley Park. Possible pub stop at the end of the walk.
If this is your first walk with Mole Valley Ramblers we invite you to contact the walk leader in advance, so that you know more about what to expect, and can gauge its suitability given your level of fitness. Please bring plenty of water, refreshments and a packed lunch. Winter walking wear. Mud expected!

Free parking off road opposite The Withies Inn, Withies Lane, Compton, Guildford GU3 1JA. From Guildford A3 south, left into Compton, The Street, proceed through the village. Lane to the left, Withies Lane.
