Overview

A chance to wander through woods and by the huge lake in Sunninghill Park. Later we walk across the world-famous Ascot racecourse instigated in 1711 by that sporting monarch Queen Anne. The route is fairly flat with no stiles but could be muddy after rain. Bring a drink and snack. Refreshments are available in Ascot High Street at the end of the walk. PLEASE WEAR WATERPROOF FOOTWEAR AS THERE IS A VERY WET FIELD TO CROSS. (It may dry out if it stops raining)
