Two climbs for the price of one on this strenuous walk starting from Church Stretton. After ascending the Long Mynd, we return via Ashes Hallow to the pretty village of Little Stretton with its picturesque timber church with thatched roof. We cross the A49 to undertake the second climb of the day, up Ragleth Hill with views, on a good day, of the Shropshire Hills, returning to the car park at Church Stretton with its many tea rooms and pubs. NB For those seeking a more moderate walk there will be an option to omit the second climb of Ragleth and return to Church Stretton along the quiet Ludlow Road from Little Stretton. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers, Wolverhampton Ramblers and Wulfrun Walkers.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:30am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.

Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start.
