Walsall Group of Ramblers has been around since 1992 and in that time we've introduced many people to the joys and benefits of walking with the Ramblers
The walk begins at Hartlebury Common which is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). The heathland is noted for its many rare species of plants and animals. We then head out towards Hartlebury Village and the Leapgate Country Park walking along the old railway line until it meets The Staffs and Worcester Canal. The canal takes us into Stourport where we will walk along the River past the impressive Marina to the pretty Lincomb Weir. Finally, we will return to the start point over the common. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 09:00am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.

Car park opposite McDonald's, Daw End Lane, Rushall, Walsall.
Hartlebury Common car park, Stourport-upon-Severn, Worcestershire. M5 to junction 3, A456 towards Kidderminster, bear left onto A450 and follow this to A449, turn L and almost immediately R onto B4193, drive through Hartlebury village and turn L onto common opposite Wilden Top Road.
