Overview

 A moderate walk which starts by following the part of the Geo trail around Haughmond Hill to visit the main viewpoints with lovely views. There are no steep climbs just gentle undulations. The second part of the walk passes by Sundorne and Haughmond Abbey crossing through woodland and fields.

We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:45am.  The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start.
Parking £4.40 all day, payable by card or phone.  Free for Forestry England members.

Forestry England car park, Haughmond Hill, Uffington, Shrewsbury. M54 and A5 to Shrewsbury, at first A49 island take A49 north, at next island take 3rd exit (B5062 Newport), after 1.4miles turn R onto minor road and look for Forestry England sign to car park on R after entrance to quarry.
