Overview

A 6 mile walk in the Vale, starting at Aston Somerville and going via the village of Wormington with a short stretch following the river Isbourne. It is an easy, flat walk, mostly across farmland, with some nice open views towards the escarpment.

Only two or three stiles, one a bit tricky. Pretty good paths and surfaces throughout. Likely to meet livestock (horses) in a couple of fields. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads. Parking can be a bit limited, so car sharing is recommended where practicable. Bring refreshments for a snack break.
