Overview

Join me for a  walk in Stowe Parkland on the first day of Autumn.  Meet in the Cornwalls Meadow car park in Buckingham (behind Waitrose) (MK18 1RS).  We walk through the town to the main avenue up to the Stowe Corinthian Arch.  We then do a circular walk up through the Stowe Parkland - this is outside the National Trust area so you don't need membership.  Dogs on leads only as there may be livestock.  If you would like to do a shorter walk of 5 miles, park at the New Inn Car Park (MK18 5EQ) by the National Trust cafe and meet us at the Corinthian Arch at 10.45 (please text me if you wish to do this).  Both car parks are FREE. We will do two breaks, one in the Parkland and one at the National Trust cafe before walking back down the Avenue to the Cornwalls Meadow car park. The walking is on paths or in meadowland and is uphill for the first half. There is an incline to the Monument but this can be avoided if you prefer.
