Overview

From Bamford we will cross the Derwent, go up to Old Lees Farm and along Glover Bank to Offerton Hall. After crossing Offerton Moor we will reach Abney  and walk down  into Bretton Clough where we will take a path on the access land before ascending to Great Hucklow. We will then return to Bamford via Bradwell, Brough and Shatton.

This is an up and down walk and some paths will be uneven and slippy in wet conditions.

It is possible to leave the walk at Bradwell for a bus to Bamford or Sheffield (16.14) or at Brough for the same bus (16.19)
