Kelstedge - Ashover - Tansley - Dethick - Upper Holloway - Lea Bridge (BOP for Cromford) - Riber - Matlock
Mostly on good footpaths/tracks with the odd short section on country roads.
There are a number of hills on the walk ,which should not be under estimated, with the biggest ascent and descent towards the end of the day between Lea Bridge and Matlock. There is also one very steep downhill section on man made steps through woodland below Upper Holloway where care will be required. However, there is a perfectly good handrail down most of this descent which is definitely safe to use.
The bluebells should be out in both Lea and Coumbs Woods which are on route and are well worth the visit.
