A leisurely, circular walk through open countryside, past a picturesque reservoir and through the historic village of Barlborough. There are lots of interesting features along the route, which is mainly a mix of minor roads, field paths, public footpaths and bridleways. There are parts of the walk that may be muddy after rain.
Please contact walk leader on the morning of the walk in case of bad weather. It would also be helpful if you would please contact the walk leader if you are going directly to the start of the walk.
We will be having a couple of stops during the walk, so please bring sufficient food and drink. We will be crossing a couple of fields en route which may be muddy after rain, so please wear suitable footwear.
