🚶‍♂️ Ramblers Walk: Barming to East Malling and Back
Join us for a scenic circular walk starting from The Redstart Pub in Barming. Our route takes us through the tranquil Oakham Woods and past the East Malling Horticultural Research Station, before arriving in the charming village of East Malling, where we’ll pause for a well-earned nibble break.
The return journey leads us across the railway line, through open fields and ancient woodland, with plenty of fine views of the Kent countryside to enjoy along the way.
•    Terrain: Mainly flat, though expect some mud if the weather has been wet
•    Distance: Moderate, suitable for most walkers
•    Dogs: Small dogs welcome, but must be kept on a short lead at all times
Nibble break half way round.
Only park in the pub car park, ME16 9HF, if you are eating or drinking after the walk. Otherwise park tidily along Heath Road by North Street end or in any of the surrounding streets.
