Barrow Bridge - Walker Fold - Winter Hill - Smithills Hall

Possibility of drinks after the walk, a short drive from Barrow Bridge.

https://whatpub.com/pubs/BOL/014/bobs-smithy-bolton1448 Chorley Old Road, Heaton, BL1 7PX

PLEASE NOTE: When I did this walk on 10.09.22 there was a road closure in place and the car park was closed as it was being used by the construction company. I parked on the roadside just beyond the car park, just before the road closure (this is a narrow section of road).

There is also roadside parking availabe between the bus turning circle and Cinder Road (this is a wide section of road). From here you can walk to the car park, but there is no roadside footpath.

Approach Barrow Bridge from the A58.

The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs."
