Walk 2 - 25/04/26 - Saltaire to Norr Hill and Chellow Dene.
Walk 3 - 13/06/26 - Saltaire to the Twelve Apostles and Baildon Moor.
Walk 4 - 15/08/26 - Saltaire to Goitstock Wood and St.Ives.

Walk 2 Description

From Saltaire along the canal to Hirst Wood, then along the riverbank to Cottingley. Across various fields (some of these were very muddy and wet when we did this walk on 06.12.25), and some quiet roads to Norr Hill.

More fields and roads bring us to the woodland and reservoirs of Chellow Dene

Our return to Saltaire is mostly on pavements.

The signage at Caroline Street car park states charges are payable Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm. The charge is £1.50 per hour.

There is permit parking in the centre of Saltaire.

If parking further away on roadsides, please be considerate to residents, and allow enough time to walk to the start point.
