We are the Sutton Coldfield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting at Barton Marina, we follow the Silver Circuit route through Barton-under-Needwood, heading north to the Dunstall Estate where there are beautiful views across a varied landscape. We walk on paths and through grasslands to the lovely village of Tatenhill before climbing Battlestead Hill, then following the National Forest Way to Branston Waterpark. At Tatenhill Locks we follow the Trent & Mersey Canal back to the start.

Meet at Wyndley Swimming Pool car park 08:45. Directions to Barton Marina: A38 Burton/Derby. Take exit B5016/Barton-under-Needwod. At roundabout, take second exit Station Road /B5106. Turn left onto Barton Turn, turn right to stay on Barton Turn. Go past first car park to second car park near Waterfront.
