Overview

A moderate 7 mile walk, taking in the features of the stunning Dimmingsdale area: Dimmingsdale itself, the Churnet Valley disused railway and views of Alton Castle. There are a lot of stiles and significant, but manageable, ups and downs on the walk.

If we get back in time, refreshments are available at the Ramblers' Retreat.
