Overview

 The walk starts in Bassenthwaite village and crosses the fields, giving extensive views of the fells and out to the west coast.  It then descends through Dodd Wood to Mirehouse and St Bega's church..  Retrning by the Lake shore to Scarness Farm and back to Bassenthwaite village.
