We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Once away from the start, this walk is entirely across the open heathland of Yew Tree Heath. With no stiles and good underfoot conditions this is quite an easy walk and forms part 2 of a figure-of-8 walk. Walkers may opt to go on either or both of the walks.
The starting time may vary slightly depending on the finish time of the morning walk.
Whilst a dog-friendly walk, dogs will have to be kept on a lead for much of the time as the area is the site for ground-nesting birds.
Beaulieu Road car park opposite the Beaulieu Hotel and Drift Inn. If you use the Drift Inn for food and/or drink, you can park in the hotel car park and avoid disappointment should the public car park be full.
