Overview

Meet at 10.30 outside Bank station (Central, Northern and DLR lines) exit 3/4 by the Wellington Statue in front of the Royal Exchange.  Join Helen for a three-and-a-half mile linear walk to explore the Bengali East End where a steady flow of immigrants from Bangladesh have settled to predominantly work in the East End clothing industry, gradually replacing the previous Jewish and Huguenot workers. Finishing at Liverpool Street station (many lines).  Toilets and refreshments.
