Embark on a picturesque journey following the Beverley Brook, winding through South West London's beautiful commons and a historic Royal Park. This walk offers a delightful escape into nature. Starting at New Malden Station, we'll traverse Beverley Meads before reaching Wimbledon Common. Here, the footpath cuts through the Iron Age fort known as "Caesar's Camp" The path continues into and through the magnificent Richmond Park, offering stunning views and the chance to spot deer. We'll then proceed across Palewell Common and Barnes Common, experiencing diverse landscapes along the way. Our walk concludes at Putney Bridge Tube Station (District Line) after a short walk along the Thames. We are planning to assess quality of the signage on this walk, so help with this would be great for those that want to be involved. Lunch at cafe/picnic in Richmond park.
