Meet 0900 Old UHI – Start 1030 – Grade C+ - OS sheet 25 - NGR NH088583
The walk starts where a track leaves the A832 but there's VERY limited parking there. So for more than one carload of walkers, parking is in the layby on the North side of the A832 at NH088583 (NOT the car park on the shore of Loch a' Chroisg!), half a mile east of the walk start.
To avoid walking along the busy A832 (no footpath), a car shuttle is then needed before and after the walk. The walk itself is straightforward, up and down a Marilyn on a 4WD track (there for maintenance vehicles to the summit). The panorama from the top is out of all proportion to the effort involved; weather permitting it's a great viewpoint.
