We are the Guildford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Catteshall lock north to St Catherine's lock, then west to Polsted Manor, south to the river at Hurtmore, then east to Catteshall.
A lunch stop is planned at The Withies in Compton, where bar snacks are available (quite expensive as bar snacks go). A picnic lunch can also be brought.
Meet at the Meadrow Car park, Farncombe. This is very close to the Leathern Bottle pub on the A3100 between Guildford and Godalming. Parking is free on Sunday. From Guildford take the A3100 towards Godalming, pass Broadwater Lake, then after the Texaco petrol station take the first right into Wey Court. The car park is straight ahead.
