Overview

The walk starts from Scotlandwell and follows a good path on the southern edge of Bishops Hill. The path has a constant but not too steep incline and soon provides great views of Loch Leven and the surrounding hills. After reaching the upper ridge we pass the high point at around 450m  and continue on a good path towards Glen Vale. Here we drop down and pick up a path along the base of the escarpment to Glenlomond  and Easter Blagedie. After  a short walk through Kinnesswood we take a path through Portmoak Moss and Kilmagad Wood back to Scotlandwell.
