Overview

Circular walk approx  7.5 miles. Assistance dogs only.

The walk takes us north along the dismantled Rosedale railway before dropping down over moorland  to Overend Farm.  From here we turn south east to Moorlands Farm before joining Daleside Road track.  Continue along for a little over a mile and then take a field path to Craven Garth Farm and on to Hill Houses where we turn right and follow field paths towards Rosedale Abbey.  A short stretch of road walking leads to Thorgill where we will probably stop for a break.   From here there is a steep climb up Thorgill Bank to join the Railway track and make our way back to Blakey Crossing.
