Starting at Keepers Pond we will go across to the Foxhunter memorial stone. From here we follow the Cambrian Way to the trig point at the southern summit of the Blorenge, then continuing on this path to reach the northern summit which sits high above Abergavenny. Winding our way down we go on to the Punchbowl. Leaving the tranquillity of the Punchbowl, the Hill's Tramway will take us around the mountain at a lower until we reach Garn Ddyrys, at this point we cross the road and follow the footpath that take us through Cwm Ifor and back to the parked cars,
On the mountain, we can expect (weather permitting) spectacular views in all directions including Pen-y-Fan, Sugarloaf and Skirrid Fawr. The views on the opposite side, Cwm Ifor, are completely different but equally stunning,
We may encounter some mud.
Dogs welcome, will need to be kept on leads around live stock.
